We have made a significant investment in quality woods, aged in a controlled environment in our own manufacturing plant. Our expertise in woodworking allows us to create and form our own veneers for our instruments and cases.

Bass player and luthier
As the President of Concord Int’l Group and founder of world known brands, Christopher string instruments and Concord cases, Mr. Chi Yang has devoted his expertise to the musical instrument industry from his professional background in performance, production, and marketing which enable him to translate a musician’s demand into the instrument making process and provide technical consultation and support.
Mr. Chi Yang, studied double bass with well-renowned virtuoso Shao Gan Bao at very young age and began playing the double bass professionally at age of sixteen. In the mid 80’s, he completed his master degree in music performance in the U.S. and continued to study at Julliard School with Mr. David Walter; after which he played in different professional orchestras in the U.S. and in Asia. At the age of fourteen, he delved into the art of luthery. This skill proved to be very useful in his future career.
With more than twenty years of devotion to the musical industry and his professional background of a bass player, a luthier, and business owner, he has established as strong credibility working with both new and old world-class instruments.
